Longtime train enthusiast Don Hagen got into railroad photography later in life. After many years of enjoying trains, his photographic interest gained momentum following Don’s acceptance of a friend’s invitation to go “train chasing.” Don’s photography skills expanded and in 2010 it was full steam ahead, starting his Quality RailFan Images photography business.

Thousands of railroading and landscape images later his work hangs in homes and offices around the world including the United States, Australia, England, and Japan. Don’s Quality RailFan Images Facebook page has more than 3,000 followers, representing over 50 countries. He has been published in articles and was included in a calendar representing various points of interest in his current home state of Nebraska. Don and his wife, Linda, have four grown children and eight grandchildren.
